Training Your Horse
Melissa employs kind, yet firm, methods while teaching your horse to instill confidence
and courage on all levels of jumping. Melissa provides jumping programs in the
starting of inexperienced horses over fences working with a variety of fence and
gymnastics to improve their natural abilities and braveness. Melissa's primary focus
in training is with experienced horses to improve their style, way of going and courage.
Melissa employs Dressage fundamentals to build a better balanced and athletic horse
for Jumping competition. This is an important foundation no matter what you have
planned for your horses future. She uses the building blocks from dressage to further
your horse's understanding of what you are asking of them.
Melissa has an uncanny ability to work with horses that have been given up by lesser
experienced or less determined trainers. She will help tailor a training program that
will reach your horse though patience, understanding and an individual approach to
identify your horse's needs.
